    Nov/Dec SS Thank You

I can't believe it. This is the 2nd SS in a row that I get to start this thread.

My Secret Sister (five one) was truely a goddess. I received a box packed with the greatest assortment of goodies.

Let's start off with those cookies. How in the world do you make each one such a work of art? I had to run all over my work showing them off. Even the warehouse manager, who is never impressed by anything, thought they were unbelievably cool. It will be a shame to actually have to eat them. Hmmm, maybe I could try covering one with a clear coating to make it into a ornament.

The chocolate wedges will be great to take along for a treat after a nice fall bike ride or snowboarding (if it keeps getting as cold as it's been). I also loved the mug, beautiful autumn plate, the candle, and the pair of my favorite brand of cycling socks. Fall in Wisconsin can get a bit nippy on the old feet so they will be put to good use.

The cookbook is awesome. It seems to have so many recipes that have a real "comfort food" vibe to them. I've picked out a few to try this weekend. Of course I showed it to a coworker and now she expects me to bring in samples for her as well....and she already copied down one recipe to try for herself.

Thanks again for everything. I loved it all.

Glad everything was a hit. Fall is my favorite time of year, so this was a fun SS to shop and bake for.

I have warned all ss's if their package might be a bit late for this that or the other. So no worries. All are informed. Hope you are doing better! You changed your avatar AGAIN! Who is it this time?

I mailed mine today too, and I didn't even have to GO to the post office. I just stuck it in the mailbox and the carrier picked it up.

I just got a present yesterday! Yay!!! Thank you!! It came all the way from New Zealand! I'll try doing a litte snooping to figure out who it is when I'm bored at work later. But thank you, whoever you are! The t-shirt is great and so is the bottle. I needed a new water bottle so it was perfect timing. I shall be testing it out on my after-work bike ride today! Thank you!!

Mimitabby, thank you SO much!! The mailman just knocked on my door and left me a wonderful package! The shirt is great , and chocolate is always a good choice! Is the watercolor one that you painted?? I was looking at the signature, and I saw *Mimi* in the corner!! It is beautiful!!
What a lucky girl I am!

PS... to my SS, I am sorry your package is so late, but I promise I'll get it to you soon...

to Jeannierides's SS, don't worry, she's imaginative and generous!

Jeannie, glad you liked it. It was supposed to be an autumn theme, right? My DH had a fit, he wanted it, so I had to paint one for him too.

i received my package last week, but work and a nasty cold have kept me from properly thanking my SS. IFjane sent me a most wonderful package that wsa full of lots of fun things. i'm wearing the warm fuzzy socks right now and they are helping while i battle my cold bug and fell chilly all the time. and there is a package for making eleven bean soup which will be yummy when i make it and i bet will help fuel me in my spin class. and the tote bag that everything was packaged in is perfect for carrying my shoes and water bottle to spin - something i had been thinking i needed to find and had yet to do anything about it. several other fun things round it all out and i couldn't be happier. thank you so much, it cheered me at a time when work, life and health had been dragging me down!

now i've got to get out and get shopping for my SS, as the whole work, life and health thing have delayed that as well. but i promise that i will do that this weekend and get mine in the mail soon too!

i'm so glad i joined this, it was such a nice surprise at my door!

    NJBikeGal??? someone else????

Possegal - I am so glad it all arrived safely! Welcome to the SS exchange - isn't it fun??

Now, to my still mysterious SS from NJ - your package arrived Monday! thankyouthankyouthankyou!!!! What a wonderful box of goodies, starting with the Sackpack! I am sure - once spring arrives and I can commute to work (call me a weenie but I don't commute in the dark - it is an 18 mile one-way ride) - that I will put it to good use. I love the oak leaf dish and the goodies inside, the apple tea light holder is beautiful and the rest of my haul is wonderful. Thanks for the bottle stuffed with snacks & such - even if it is not from your favorite LBS! OH! and the socks - how did you know blue is my favorite color??? Thank you so much again - now, will you please reveal yourself to me????
