    Talking Best time to ride!!

Ladies - be sure to get to bed early. January 1 is the BEST time to ride in the morning! The streets are empty.

I'll be doing a group ride called the "I Hate Football" ride.

I'm lifting my glass of Cytomax to all of you! Here's to an awesome year of riding in 2005! May we all do centuries under five hours and go dancing the same night!

I'm with you - and the weather here in the northeast is actually cooperating with my plans to ride today. I'm about to head out on my bike into sunny weather, not too cool for a January day (in the 40's)... my bikes are clamoring to ride!

All right ladies! I'm mostly with you. I haven't been riding hardly at all, it got too cold for the trainer in the garage, blah, blah, blah. So it's New Year's Day, it's too wet to ride outside, but it's plenty warm to ride on the trainer in the garage. As soon as the Rose Parade is over, I'm out there. And I intend to keep riding on the trainer until I get back in shape and the weather warms up and dries out enough to ride outside. (I'm counting on everone here to hold me to it!)

Happy New Riding Year to all!

    Unhappy

I caught my usual "they use evergreens in the church Christmas Eve and then I flew" cold so I'm feeling pretty icky right now and my bike is calling but I put a muffler on her until I'm feeling better! waaahaaa
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand, strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming: "Yeah Baby! What a Ride!"
