    Smile Century YES!!

    Hi all
thanks to all who supported me when I did not do my century last month.
took my husbads advice and plannd my own ............ incorporating a 4 mile walk with my gorgeous dogs, (Yodaand Windu)
The day was just so cool
November in UK is usually cooooooooold...
well guess its not so cold now
    no wind so no excuses.
Great day, set off and did the century but it seemed to take for ever
particularly when I reached 70 miles, switched off the milometer as it just did not seem to be clocking the miles as fast as I would have liked.

It was dark about last hour of my ride neded lights (fortunately I had anticipated this )

Got to the final mile from home and only clocked 97 miles, so you can imagine I had to cycle to our local "Tesco" to ensure I had the requisite 100!!!!
    It felt real good!!!
    WOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Hi Scarlet! I have not been around TE for a few weeks, so didn't know about your earlier century plans, but YAY for you!!! You did it!! Now, when that next organized century comes along, you will have this experience behind you to make it a wonderful day.

Congrats! You must be very proud!

Congrats, Scarlet!!! You've conquered the distance! Way to go. I'm so glad you were able to get one in before winter REALLY reared it's ugly head.
    How are you feeling today?

Congratulations- welcome to the century riders club!! To have the mental drive to do one unsupported is tough.
