Oooooooooh! I've never heard of them before, so I googled the cafe, and their menu offerings look tasty. Their blog has scrumptious pictures too. But the real test will be the quality of the coffee. I'll have to go check out the place next time I'm down in PDX.

Talking I used to look for police cars to spot good places to eat, now bikes

    We want reviews, and pictures

Meanwhile here in the Bay I'd noticed one day while driving (baaaad Trek) a cafe with lots of bikes outside near my work. Made a mental note to walk there one lunch. Just back and it's nice, had a bowl of pumpkin soup, probably vegan. They have non vegan options.

    That's so cool.

Yesterday I went to a public presentation of proposed road improvements. This wasn't even something in my neighborhood but I wanted to see what they had planned to accommodate cyclists. (i actually thought it was going to be a hearing and had planned on being a loudmouth)

as I was looking at one of the graphic displays a woman asked me if I lived in the neighborhood. I told her no, but I had plans to move within the city limits and hoped to be able to ride my bike instead of driving everywhere. She found this concept fascinating. As it happens, she was a reporter with our little town paper so I at least got something out there.

i need to live in Portland.
