The price is not surprising to me. Totally original, pristine, 30 years old RH supervised. You can BET it would cost 2 or 3 times as much as a new Rivendell, Kogswell, Mariposa, or Vanilla touring bike for instance.
There are lots of people with plenty of money who love these beautiful old handbuilt bikes...there are coffee table books about the older ones! They are works of art...though this one is not *that* old yet.Lisa
