I just discovered this site and the discussion forum and am having a blast with it!! I usually ride alone or with my husband who is way faster than me. Sometimes he will leave first and ride really hard for a few miles and then come back and get me so he is not so frustrated by my pace. I like to ride at a rate that pushes me sometimes and sometimes I just want to ride for fun. Is there anyone out there near me who is in a similar situation and would like to ride together occasionally. My typical pace is about 14-16mph. Is that embarrassingly slow? I'm not sure what normal is for a woman. I just know I suck compared to my husband.
