    Hello, Ladies -

I'm new to the forum and still relatively new to cycling - and I need your help. I rode a 62-mile ride (by far, the longest I've ever ridden) two days ago and this morning noticed a large bulge on my inner left thigh. It's not bruised and doesn't particularly hurt, but it is noticably swollen/bulging. My left leg didn't hurt at all during the ride (my right piriformis did, but that's another story), but my sit bones were quite sore afterward. I'm wondering if any of you have experienced this...if maybe it's related to the sit bone soreness and will just go away on its own...I have no idea. Any thoughts would be appreciated. For what it's worth, I have a women's specific bike and saddle and have had everything professionally fitted. Help!

Is the lump in a place where you come in contact with the saddle?

It's in the very upper thigh - starts right below my underwear line in the crotch area and is probably the size of my palm. Honestly looks like a small water balloon under the skin.

as you can probably gauge from the lack of replies that is indeed unusual. If it were me, I'd give it about a week and if no improvement by then, go to the doc.

It's slightly less swollen today. I've been relying on R.I.C.E. so far. Send good thoughts!
