keen shoes

after browsing around i bought a pair of keen presidios to wear on the bike...i wanted somthing waterproof...the rain is starting here and when it starts...well, it doesn't stop. i want to keep riding...

They have nice stiff soles, are waterproof and pretty comfortable...

anyone else have success w/these as cycling shoes?

Zappos is incredible. My shoe collection isn't growing as much now that they don't have the really really cheap close-out prices on certain styles/sizes...I used to get several pairs of shoes a week.

Your shoes are cute! I wouldn't use those to ride but they would be good for walking around when it rains. Which feels like all the time....

Elk, I have quite a few pairs of Keen shoes- I love them. That pair you are looking at does indeed look good for biking. What color do you like? That tomato color is tempting!

I have a pair of Keen "Bronx" sneakers very similar to those that I often wear biking.

the red is pretty snappy though...and actually...the more colorful, the more visible, right?!

If you do get them (or anything) from Zappos, not only do they have free NEXT day shipping...I mean you blink and you got 'em---and free returns, but they will price match. Online shoes had them for 89. So I got them for 89...
