Forced cycling sabbatical
No riding this weekend for us.
Friday the hub volunteered to help survey the dam where we live. He was two minutes from being finished and slipped on some slick mud/algae at the bottom of the spillway.
He called me and said he thought he had dislocated his shoulder, come get him FAST. He was in excruciating pain.
Spent the afternoon at the ER. They put him to sleep, popped it back into place and it popped out again. Got it back in again and his arm is immobilized until we can follow up with an orthopedic.
Y'all will appreciate this. After they got it in place and the doctor left for a sec, the hub said, I wonder when I can ride my bike. Don't let me forget to ask him.
It's been rainy here this weekend, but I've been too busy taking care of the one armed man to have time to ride.
