    Camelback Wearing Help Needed!

I haven't worn one in years but just got a slip stream. On the bottom of the straps, there are long tape-like "strings" with velcro on the bottom. I mean really long. Are these supposed to go around your waist? How do the velcro thingies hook up? I've searched the internet for a picture without success.

Thanks in advance. I'm really mechanically challenged, as you can tell!

Those are the strap keepers! So fit the shoulder straps how you like, roll up the excess, and the velcro straps wrap around the little rolled up ball so that the straps don't flap around. It's one of those what-took-them-so-long-to-make-it-this-way things. Very handy.

    DOH!!!

Thanks, Yellow! Your are 100% right - what took them so long??? I remember my old one flapping in the breeze. Really annoying.

I guess I never thought that "they" would get smart. I just knew there was some ulterior motive to completely confuse and humiliate me when my cyclist buddies starting pointing & laughing because I didn't know how to wear a Camelback.

I'm a child of the '60's. It isn't paranoia if they really ARE after you!

    Thanks again!
