Had a couple more, but the computer has slowed down and I don't have time to wait and load! You have to be there to see how beautiful it all is. What is amazing is looking down to the tiny spot in the valley that marks the center of the ride, knowing you rode up the mountain on the far side, came back down, and have now ridden up the next mountain! So fun!

What a beautiful location for a ride. You look so sporty and well-equipped for your big ride. And that is a nice jersey, too. Thanks for posting pics and congratulations again on your accomplishment.![]()
Oh, wow! Very inspiring. Nice Specialized bike - what model?
Great pics (including you and your bike). I'm consumed with jealousy! How did the climbs go?
great pictures! (More, more!)
There's another thread with her amazing story on it.
Wow - great pictures! I think we saw that weird pyramid shaped cinder cone thing-y on the way up to Oregon last month. What a beautiful place!

Well impressed
Courage does not always roar. Sometimes, it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying,
"I will try again tomorrow".
Great pics...and congratulations on your successful ride...
I LOVE this jersey. Got it for the ride. Wonderfully cool, and as you can see, gobs of room to stuff the pockets full...I have plenty of fat rolls on my own, but that blob next to the saddle was a pocketFULL of food!!![]()

Sequoia Elite. It is trusty, but when it he (Fred, my bike) isn't looking, I have started flirting with others in bike stores.Originally Posted by michelem

Thanks so much for the pictures! Mt Shasta is a very special place and I"m glad you were able to ride the mountain.
I've thought of doing this ride for several years. Maybe next year I can persuade some Bay Area folks to do it with me!
Congrats on your success!
