Xeney, she is beautiful!!! You will heal and will soon feel much better. For now, enjoy motherhood and all the hard work you did to bring that beautiful little girl into the world.![]()

Seriously - babies are a wonderful way to start people
Congratulations - aside from finding each other, the births of our children are the most wonderful things to ever happen to my partner and I.
Relish each day - even the tired ones - every day is a gift.
Hi, everyone, and thank you! What a nice welcome for Penelope. And thank you, Mimi, for reminding me of this thread! I did see it right after you started it but that was back before I learned how to type while the baby nurses.I have a lot of unanswered email from that period because I can't type one-handed. Or no-handed.
Things are great -- she is fantastic, a happy and easy baby who slept through the night for the first time last night at nine weeks. She's still pretty small for her age but she's catching up. Daddy is sure she's going to be a physicist and a mountain biker and possibly a rockstar.
Here she is with Daddy, about a month ago:
She laughs all the time. I am pretty sure I took this one during one of my workouts, which crack her up because I am so out of shape and yet I always tell her how strong Mommy is. She knows better:
Here we are at the river last weekend:
Here she is looking like an elf:
And here she is this weekend at the farmer's market, all snuggled up with her pink bicycles:

Awwww, how adorable! What is it about a baby that just gets the maternal instincts going, lol. Enjoy her Xeney, she is sooo precious!!
