My favorite century was the North Fork Century, Long Island, NY -- despite problems with the road markings, rest stops running out of food and water, etc. Because it was my first!
I was so psyched I could have floated home afterwards!

Well, I will be doing my first Century at the end of August. The Portland Century. http://www.portlandcentury.com/
I am hoping that I will want to do a whole lot more after that one. I was just wondering what are some of the best centuries out there. I am looking to hear what your best experiences have been. I am looking for ideas for some fun rides, things like really good food, fabulous scenery, a unique theme. Links to websites would be great.
What is your Favorite Century?

The Portland Century looks nice! I'm not doing anything that day and it's looking tempting. The climbing though?!![]()
I always liked the Amtrak Century in California. You ride down the coast to San Diego and take a chartered train back up. You get to bring a cooler with food and drinks for the train ride back![]()
