    My favorite Century...

Well, I will be doing my first Century at the end of August. The Portland Century. http://www.portlandcentury.com/
I am hoping that I will want to do a whole lot more after that one. I was just wondering what are some of the best centuries out there. I am looking to hear what your best experiences have been. I am looking for ideas for some fun rides, things like really good food, fabulous scenery, a unique theme. Links to websites would be great.
    What is your Favorite Century?

My favorite century was the North Fork Century, Long Island, NY -- despite problems with the road markings, rest stops running out of food and water, etc. Because it was my first!

I was so psyched I could have floated home afterwards!

The Portland Century looks nice! I'm not doing anything that day and it's looking tempting. The climbing though?!

I always liked the Amtrak Century in California. You ride down the coast to San Diego and take a chartered train back up. You get to bring a cooler with food and drinks for the train ride back
