I don't know if any of you gals are thinking about doing the Donner Lake Triathlon (in Truckee, Ca near Lake Tahoe). It's one month from yesterday. IF you are, I have a suggestion/warning. Please make sure that your brakes and tires are in excellent condition. The road coming down off of the summit is twisty and turny, with no guardrail. The road itself is in good shape so you can get up quite a bit of speed. It can be pretty hairy.
2 years ago I did the sprint. It was my first tri. This year I'm going for the olympic length. Whew! Wish me luck.
