can anyone recommend clinics?

Hi everyone. I'm new here and wondered if anyone had recommendations for any mountain biking clinics. I saw that Mt Bike Chicks has one in Kentucky, which is the area that I want, i just don't know anything about anyone. I don't know anybody around here that rides and would love a clinic type setting to show all about riding and maintenance and everything, but don't know if anyone offers them. Any help/opinions would be appreciated! Thanks. Danielle

Hey, welcome to the board!!

First I know that someone this board has been to a mtbchicks clinic, and loved it.

Second, I think you'd be nuts to not jump on a clinic in your area, there aren't that many of them. where is your area?

Third, are you concerned about what/how is going to be taught, coaches qualifications, etc? Why not contact the clinic people and ask them for more information? Or ask them for referrals, testimonials...

fourth, having gone to clinics, myself, not knowing anyone, I've always had a great time and come back over enthused about riding.
I've got a great one in British Columbia to refer you to...
