    My first win

Today I was off to ride a race with my new cat. 3 license and my new club clothing. It was a 'simple' cat 3/4 race of 40km at a club circuit however it had rained so the track was still wet. A lot of 18+ girls decided to ride somewhere else, there we two bigger races in the country but I decided to do this race since tomorrow I have to ride in the regional championships against a lot of cat 1 & 2 riders (and some of those cat 1 riders also ride the world pro tour).

Luckely the rain had stopped in the morning so the track was drying out as we were riding. The race itself wasn't really exciting, some tried to get away but nobody got far and pace was slow which was oke for me since it was a practice race. Though you have to be carefull since some riders do stupid things when the speed is gone.

The sprint started early, probably started by me , and somehow I managed to keep ahead with just a hair to spare at the finish line leaving me to claim my first victory although I didn't know until they called the results.
