New Frame on the way!!

So it has been a week and UPS hasn't found my bike yet So I have completed the testing phase of bikes and have decided that the winner is the Litespeed Bella. Ordered the new frame yesterday!(green one). I am excited! I am building it up with SRAM rival components and for the moment it will get bontrager race x-lite wheels. I am still looking at bars, stems,seats,etc.
I eventually am hoping to put Chris King headset and hubs in mango or green, not sure yet(going to wait for either the ups insurance check, or for my bike to show up so I can sell it for the money). Until I get the bike in though I am stuck hiking and trail running:-( oh how I miss being on the bike!

Once I get the frame in and start to get it built up I will post pictures!

hehe,nope- I moved from South Florida to Albuquerque, and UPS seems to have lost my bike(it got scannnged into the ups hub here, but then it just magically dissappeared). They have until monday to find it, but it was supposed to have been delivered on the 16th. It is also going to take 6-8 weeks to receive the insurance money from them, and I can't be off the bike that long-I will go crazy!!

So the SO works at one of the LBS out here, so he ordered me my new frame yesterday, and one of the managers had gotten rival for one of his bikes, but didn't like it(he is a long term shimano user). So I am buying his rival off of him!(i was already planning on going rival, this just made it cheaper-hehehe)


So all I can say is, make sure you insure whatever it is you ship with UPS!!!

Congrats on the new frame! I'm awaiting a new frame, too. My first single, actually. My husband got me into tandem cycling with him last year and now I'm ready to go out on my own. He ordered me a Cannondale CAAD9 in black and will put all his great components on it from his "old" bike. NICE components, Dura-ace, etc. and not very old. He, of course, upgraded to an even better bike.

I'm REALLY frustrated, though, because my frame was ordered 3 1/2 weeks ago and I'm now being told it may be another week or so. I'm going nuts! In the mean time, my husband got his brand new bike, we bought my 11 year old a new bigger bike and gave her old one to the 9 year old, who promptly let it get stolen. My husband wasted no time replacing it for her, so SHE got a brand new bike. Then he decided he was all into mountain biking and ordered a really nice MTB off Ebay. It arrived today, of course. Two nights ago a friend of ours came by with the new bike he finally decided to order just two days before and already got.

THIS IS NOT FAIR!!!! Everyone around me is buying and GETTING new bikes while I sit around picking my nose. My husband even ordered and got, not one, but two new pairs cycling shoes (Road and MTB) while I worked hard to find the right one's for my very narrow foot, finally ordered them three days ago because no store actually carries my size, but I just found out they my shop didn't physically get ordered until TODAY.

BLEH! Okay, thank you for letting me vent.

Yay for us! We're getting a new bike!!!
