Any Novice Riders in NoVA?

Especially those who are in their mid-late 20s? (I'm 26) I just got a bike and although I do not mind riding alone, it would be nice to meet up with other people once in awile. Most of the people I know who cycle are guys, and I really don't need to ride with a bunch of big egos right off the bat.

Or if there are any non-novices, but who aren't super-hard-core and don't mind not doing easier rides awhile, that would be fine too
