    Grrrrr...

Got my bike out this morning only to discover her back tyre was flat.

Not a happy bunny. I should really go back to where I got my new tyres from and complain as they used the old inner tube. I didn't notice until the job was almost done. Common sense should have told the guy that the tyres were nearly 30 years old so the tubes were probably the same age. I got him to put a new tube on the front wheel. I only had a limited amount of money on me and was originally quoted £12.99 for each tyre to include new tubes plus a spare. By the time the bill reached nearly £40 I wasn't happy and was running short of time so didn't complain.

Anyway, I went and got a couple of new tubes. It was a buy two get one free so that gives me two spares now. This will be my first ever attempt at changing the tube myself.

I was really miffed at not being able to cycle to work this morning - and very late

I can't BELIEVE that someone would reuse a 30 year old tube!!
Hey good luck with changing the flat- it's good practice and much easier to learn in the comfort of home!
