Today I visited the LBS with my boys to get a computer for my seven year old. He wants to log his miles on BJ. Watch out girls here he comes.

That is SO cool!!! My boys (almost 6 and almost 8) have new bikes and they are starting to ride... I can't wait to start taking them out on the trails (its raining/muddy now so just waiting til it drys up a bit)

Its neat that he is getting so into it!

He loves his bike the only problem is he wants to ride it all the time. This means when its raining he complains and well I do enough of that for both of us.

Thanks V!! Dont ask the boys how great they think I am on weekdays though apparently Im the homework fiend. Homework comes first then riding (LOL although I would rather ride my bike too I dont tell him that).

Poor kids. I ride first and then do my homework - at 4:30 AM.

The boys are all gonna want to start racing soon. Better start saving up for those race bikes.

I'm thankful one of my sons is showing interest in bicycling. He is the only one out of 6 sons to ever ride on his initiative. He told me during the 5 min. he was home from college this weekend that he and a friend wanted to plan a bike trip in Canada after school this year! He graciously said he would be asking for my input, but didn't ask if I wanted to tag along.

Better watch out Trekhawk. Once he catches on to what kind of a bike you have, he will want to ride it!!

LOL - at the moment he is in love with Specialized. We had to make sure his computer was Specialized so it matched his bike. He did say however that my bike was pretty cool because it was red like his. You have to love seven year olds.
