Nice spreadsheet! But I don't find BikeJournal too serious. It was a great tool for me to up my miles when I started riding again, so I'd recommend it for a newbie--it's motivating to see your name move up in the ranks!

I was looking at Bike Journal and liked the idea but found it a bit too serious for a newb like me. So, I made my own training spreadsheet with Google Docs and Spreadsheets! I enter in each ride I take, I can plot the course on Bikely to figure out elevation changes, and then publish it to share with my friends and family!
