Maybe it's just me, but on this new release I can't see "average speed" anymore when looking at an exercise curve, it is always "pace". Is there some setting somewhere I need to set saying I want to see it? I don't remember having to do anything specific like that in the previous reelase... Hep me!![]()
(That's especially for you, SK)
Oh - I am rereading the original post - hmm - maybe this release is a fix for the release I downloaded last month? And perhaps the average speed was a bug, since corrected? I'll check it out...

BZ, I have the same question! I haven't yet downloaded this release but the pace vs speed thing in the last one is awful. It makes me to maths to figure out my fastest speed. Moronic!
I can't quite interpret whether this release fixes that or you're just hoping that it will. Hep me, ok? You on it?![]()

Well - I downloaded the new release and it seems to treat the pace/average speed issue just like the previous "new" release - in other words - average speed is not on the curve anymore. You can see it if you select Selection Info, but I really liked seeing on it the selection and summary data area. Harumph.![]()
Maybe a tech support email is in order - I'll try to send one out tomorrow if I have a chance. I guess I'm glad it's not just me missing some really obvious thing!
Keep calm and carry on...
Thanks for the heads-up on this SK. Shame they didn't fix the average speed issue though.

Welcome back, Snappy!
I just emailed Polar with the mins per mile vs miles per hour questions (I'm sure it will be the same answer for kilometres) so we'll wait and see.
I also emailed them about being able to see accumulated feet climbed during a ride. I have a s720i and I can't figure out how many total feet I've climbed until I download the exercise to a PC. It would seem that both Polar and Garmin have problems understanding that a lot of us take multi-day trips and don't have a PC available in the back of beyond.

Got it!
Select Options/ person properties / measurement units.
You will see PACE with a dropdown arrow.
Click on the dropdown arrow and select MPH (or whatever choice you prefer)

Are you home or checking this forum from abroad? That's sick. Go have fun.
The answer came from Polar, not less-than-genius-SK.

Yep, I'm checking the forum from London! It is sick, I guess. It's pretty late, and I'm at that point of so being tired I can't sleep. It's fun being back in London, but wowie-zowie - is it expensive! It makes SF look like the deal of the century.
I've got a funny bike photo I'll post tomorrow - thanks for tracking down that answer from Polar!
Cheerio!
Keep calm and carry on...
Ta-ta!
TrekHawk needs some good Irish Breakfast Tea, BTW.![]()
