    Weigh-in Week of April 1

    To disable ads, please log-in.

Well I sort of made my goal of 121 for March 30 (121.2) I figure that's close enough. I was actually down to 120 before the wedding but content to be here for now. My goal for April 30 is 119. Hopefully I'll lose an extra pound because I'll be biking tons.

Welcome to Deedolce and the others who have joined this thread. Keep at it ladies whether you're trying to lose 10 lbs or 100 lbs!

    Aarrgh!

    Hi all:
Missed last weeks weigh in- hmm that seems to have been a mistake because I was up again 2 lbs! The major difference was the lack of exercise- my body loves 141 without exercise 139 with exercise- guess the writing is on the wall.... good thing my brain likes exercise too!
BTW Did anyone see this months' Runner's world? interesting articles on nutrition... confirmed what I knew but didn't want to admit..
many people (myself included) overestimate the calories burned while running while at the same time underestimate calories consumed- they had lots of interesting examples.. was a good read.
hopefully will be back down the 2 lbs next week

Considering how little exercise I've been doing, this week's weigh in was quite successful.

131 pounds (down 1 pound since last week, 5.4 pounds since Jan 1, and close enough to the March objective of 130.7 for me).
Fat %age at 28.7% down from 28.8% last week and from 29.1% Jan 1.
Muscle mass down again, to 88.6 pounds. darn. Last week was 89.2 and Jan 1 was 90.2.
I'm still liking the metabolic age - 30 is still 9 years younger than I really am, so, yay!!

I'm crossing my fingers for good energy this week, and hope to actually do some real exercise.

Well done to all of you working on your goals.

I haven't posted a weigh-in in 2 weeks! This is partly because I haven't lost anything...and partly because due to my schedule, my normal weigh day's have been all messed up.

Anyway, I'm still sitting right at 153 and time is quickly running out. I'm trying to not stress about it, and just focus on what I can change in the next 5 weeks. My plan...very simple: Keep the food REAL and keep portions under control...and ramp up the activity.

I'll be almost doubling my bike time from this week going forward, and I'm going to work extra hard to eat smart and not use the extra activity as an excuse to eat crap.

I lost 3.5 pounds this week. A bit surprised. I was sick, so I barely got in any exercise, but also from being sick I didn't eat too much. Hopefully I can keep it off next week.

    Wrong Way!!!!

Despite 230+ miles last week, Mother-in-law cooking did me in. I gained 3.5 pounds, but I'm back on track the last two days.

It sounds as though everyone is doing well, either losing, maintaining, or back on track.

After not much last week, this week did show a loss off my hips (yay), BF%, and scale weight. My capris are loose-which is great!

Now to eat the Easter candy in moderation. Oh I do so love chocolately carmel/marshmallowy goodness....

    I lost TWO!

In the last 7 days I have spent 5-6 hours of most of them doing one or two very vigorous things. One day of hiking and camping, and the rest working in the garden. The gardening was the heavy duty kind, lots of sod-breaking and shoveling and lifting and transplanting, hauling bags of mulch and containers for the patio. NOT for the weak of heart. Those were all 3000 calories days!

Yesterday I had to put down our dog who was 20 years old, so two days I haven't felt much like eating. I'm sure that had something to do with it.

I don't think I'll meet the 10 before the Trip goal, but as long as I'm losing, I don't care. I don't want to have to buy new jeans before I go on my trip in two weeks, but it may be necessary!

Good luck to everyone trying to lose - and congrats to those who did!
Tagging onto this thread, if I may.

Was horrified to discover my weight has skyrocketed in the past few months.
So - starting weight of 136.5. Aiming for 121lb.

Hi Mountainchick! Join in!! Welcome!! It is really informal here, so just post your successes or not, everyone supplies a little encouragement and we all loose eventually!

I have remained static for a couple weeks after a big loss of 12 or more pounds in the preceding 5 weeks. My smaller jeans fit well now, and if I had my druthers, I would loose another 10, but eating right has gotten me this far, so I may be here awhile until the weather clears up and I am riding more.

Actually down 1.5 this week. This is a surprise since I was traveling to VA last week and I know we didn't eat well. So now we can just hope our weather changes back. It was 80 here on Monday and now barely 40 with frost warnings tonight.

Thanks..I wasn't quite sure how it all worked.

So here's my first I guess. I'm at 143 and I'd like to drop about 15lbs. I haven't been tracking it much, but I got a journal today and will be recording what I eat/drink, etc.
