    Help me accessorize!

    To disable ads, please log-in.

So I'm finally going to go ahead and order these panniers:

Here's my problem. I can get them in chrome, white or black. And I don't know which color to get!

Here is my bike (only I have a Brooks honey saddle, not a black one.)

    Would you get:

black, to match the tires, handlebars and the bicycle rack?

    white?

chrome/silver, to go with the chrome/silver (including the fenders) on the bike?

Or would the black and/or white be a better choice because the coating is less likely to rust?

    Decisions, decisions!

I'm going to order within the next 24 hours. Opinions, please?

That was my first choice -- until I allowed myself to start thinking about it.

why would it rust? You're not going to leave your bike out in the rain, are you?

Silver would coordinate with the other silver parts.

Okay, it's black or silver. Today I'm ordering it so I need to make a decision. I must remind myself -- sometimes there is not a right or wrong decision, just a different choice. Grrr.

My vote's for silver. But then again most of my accessories are silver/chrome so I guess I'm partial.

Silver/chrome because everybody else has black, so be more unique.

I highly recommend these. They come off and on easily, fold compactly when empty, and aren't very heavy.

    Talking Intro/extro? Magpie?

So here's my vote, albeit probably too late...

Would you say you're an extrovert? Silver.
    Introvert? Black.
Do you like shiny things in general, like diamonds and bling? Silver.
Would you prefer to blend in with the crowd? Black.
And if the silver's not on your pants, it can't make your butt look big (which is the main reason women love black).
And the silver might help keep you from getting run over (the reason those chartreuse pearl izumi jackets are top sellers).
But when all is said and done, they both will carry yo shizzit.

Well, I'm not an introvert by any means, but I finally went with black because --

The rack it will be attached to is black.

I finally decided constrast wouldn't be attractive so stuck with the black.

I'll post a picture when I have it all together.
