How many of us are weekend worriers?

It's sad buy I am a weekend worrier who rides from march-nov. I wish I could ride more but live in an area that requires a drive of at least 25minutes to a closest route. My commute is at least an hour every day and by the time I get home I am drained. Sometimes I get really crancky because I can't ride when I want to, I can't just hop on the bike and go straight from my place.
So how many of you gals are just like me, waiting for the weekend to get on your bike. Checking weather every hour or so to see if it will be a nice sat and sunday?

Ummm... I don't worry about the weekend at all. Quite the opposite!

I'm seriously trying to work out during my work week. Sometimes I go to the gym or run....riding is done on my days off. And yes, I watch the weather closely! My latest warrior endeavor was on monday -- I went to spin class, I ran, then I went for a 25 mile ride later that afternoon. Ouch!

Do you have weights at home or is there a way to make your work days be cross training days?

I think weekend worrier works also! Especially when the weather is bad.

When the weather is co-operating (which it isn't today), I commute to work (but it is only 10.2 miles round trip). I have ambitions to try and ride an extra mile in the morning and try to add several more miles on my ride home. But by the end of the work day, I am tired and I just want to get home. I try to do my longer rides on the weekend, now that we are into spring. I worry about my planned rides this year and the fact that I am not getting my base miles up to accomplish my goals. Glad to hear I am not alone....

I generally only have the time get do road riding on the weekend but during the week I spin on a trainer stand, run, and swim. I'd love to get more road rides in, perhaps after work on those long summer nights.
I'd rather be swimming...biking...running...and eating cheesecake...

I walk 5 to 10 miles a day at work...doing my job. Most days I'm pretty pooped when I get home so I stare wistfully at my trainer.

That's as far as it gets...

If I ride, it's on the weekend.

    spazz

As for worrying... no discrimination here. If I worry I do it 24/7
    no regrets!
