    New bike... conceived.

    Well, I did it.

I got fitted last night for a bike. Bob made measurements of me, of my Bianchi,
and sat down on his computer and made this picture.

He asked me about handlebars, quill stem, pedals, all that stuff.
The only thing he hasn't nailed down is color. As you can see, it's not the right color yet, but .. that's no big deal... we have time.

It's 831 steel and of course campy gruppo...

Congruts on new baby? Boy or girl, name? Many many happy rides, please post pictures when it's complete and he (your mechanic) will deliver it.

Wow.. cool, Mimi.. Uh.. was it good for you?

    Sorry.. I'm being bad again.

That's very exciting. Seriously, did you enjoy the experience? Did you learn a lot?

Huh.. just noticed your chainstay length. I thought it'd be longer? Like more touring like or light touring like? (I talk as if I know what the hell I'm talking about)..

Sweet looking bike Mimi. I would ask technical questions, if I knew any. What colours are you hoping for? How long before the baby is born?

This is so cool mimi - I'm betting you are going to be so happy with this new steed. Especially after your last adventure. I understand being nervous and quiet. I do the same thing. Congratulations!

I vaguely remember there being a site where you could play with paint colors - anyone remember it?

What a wonderful looking bike and you will have it just in time for prime riding season. I will look forward to seeing your bike when you have possession of it.

You can do some color play on the trek site for design of a project one bike. I played with it a little last night.
