Are you happy with your Selle An-atomica?

Another saddle dilemma for me... Currently I am riding on selle italia gel max flite saddle and compared to everything else I had it's comfortable. However, since I got it towards the end of last season I never got a chance to do a ride longer than 35miles and now it starts to bother me even more. I am interested in Selle An-atomica that TE carries and wanna know your opinion on how you like it, how long you been riding it, is it slippery like brooks in the beggining. So share your experience plzzzzz

My current saddle mostly bothers me in the nose part, also when I climb the wings just seem to hurt my sit bones and inner thighs somehow. It feels like there are not too many positions I can take on that saddle. Overall, I don't feel super comfortable on it after 15 hilly miles so that means that longer rides will be even worse.

If saddle weight is an issue or pet-peeve for you then I would go for something different. This particular saddle is pretty heavy.

Hmm just converted, comes out to a little over 500 grams. Thats a lot but if it's comfortable I will make the sacrifice.

Yes, it doesn't sound like weight is the issue here. It's lack of comfort.
What i am curious about is how many positions are comfortable on most bike saddles? isn't there usually a sweet spot somewhere and the other places are where you don't want to stay very long?

Mimi, I think there should be one sweet spot like you said but also saddle should be comfortable when climbing. Mine isn't, I also notice that the pain comes from the cut out, I always had cut out saddles but this one is just not ride. Not sure how to explain very well, but it hurts right where the edge of the cut out. I guess the only way to know if Selle would be good for me is to buy it and compare. I believe TE has 90 days return policy and that's more than enough to decide on it.
