I ordered my own bike today!!!

Ironically, the guy who fitted me was named "Fred".

I got it after a lot of deliberation (and a couple of calls to Silver for expertise and approval). I'm a quick shopper, so for me to consider options for 1 hr and 15 minutes is unheard of.

    Although I planned on getting a 50 cm Pilot 1.2, I ordered a 49cm Lemond Reno.

    Deciding considerations:
-When we got the Pilot for SilverSon, we though I'd enjoy the more upright geometry...but I was hiking the seat way up.
-I am long torsoed and short legged

It should be here by the end of the week...maybe even tomorrow.

I'm not a sentimental type, but for those of you who are familiar with Breaking Away, there's something about buying your first bike in Bloomington just 100 feet from the gates to Indiana University!!!!
