Welcome back. I'm in NYC, too, so I understand the weird weather we've been having. We're supposed to get some 50-degree weather on saturday!

Hello to everyone!!! Haven't been writing anything for a long time but you can be assured that I been following everything as much as I could. Didn't ride since late Nov. and now that it's march I started to miss is soo much. It's been a weird winter in NY but hopefully we will get some riding temps soon. Been getting on my trainer at least once a week as well as 2 spin classes on weekdays.
Feels good to post again,![]()

Thank you lizbids, nice to see new yorker on the forum. Where are you in Brooklyn and where do you usually ride?
I certainly hope that we will have better weathe soon!!!
Managed to sneak out for a ride a week ago, briefly.. then back on the trainer.. I'll be watching the weather with you two. Extended forecast shows temps in the 60's!!!!!!
Awsome, we should form a NY and NJ +surrounding areas weather watch coalition![]()
I didn't ride since mid of Nov I believe, even though sometimes the weather was pretty good, my bike was on a trainer and I just never got to ride. So, it's a long break and I am just dreading to find out how much strength I lost.
Hiya Newbie and Jersey,
I ride through Prospect Heights, Crown heights, Bed Stuy and Bushwick to get to work...but I also try to ride in Prospect Park, as long as there aren't 298 people TALKING ON CELLPHONES WHILE GOING FOR A STROLL IN THE BIKE LANE!!

WB Newbie..............you and me both!!! I just had so much going on some things fell by the wayside but everything is coming back together again! lol
here's hoping your weather warms up enough for a ride!!!
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand, strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming: "Yeah Baby! What a Ride!"
