    Hello, My name is Bluetree...

    ... and I am a Triathlon Addict.

I have a show coming up in April. I haven't even started preparing.

My laundry hasn't been done in 2 weeks (except for my bike/tri clothes).

My fridge has been empty for even longer.

I don't know where my mascara is, as I haven't worn makeup in a month.

My once-spotless cream colored carpet is covered with bike tracks, wood chips, beach sand and assorted coffee stains.

My taxes, which are normally done in January, are still sitting on my desk.

I have pink Accelerade stains all around my kitchen sink.

    My car smells like chlorine.

My art journals remain unread, but I know every SKU number in the latest Colorado Cyclist catalog.

I used to be a politico, but now I only watch the weather report to see if I could plan my rides.

I daydream of red Orbeas and cute mechanics with narrow waists when I should be working.

I no longer care if I have goggle rings around my eyes and smell like pool chemicals.

So... is it time for a 12-step program?

Let's start a support group, we can have as many steps in our program as we want....

Hi My Name is rocknrollgirl, and I am a tri addict.....

Today in class I was giving a test, and as my students worked away, I was sitting at the front desk, resting my chin in my hands, elbows on the desk, staring off into space.

A boy in the back says " Mrs. T, you having a good time watching us work"

I replied...actually I was just sitting here thinking how sore and tired I am. I have done 4 workouts in two days...today's run will be the 5th workout....

They said..gee you should be in the Olympics....

I said...No I should be in the Insano Wing of the Old Tired Folks Home for crazy old triathletes......

    No more denial.....

    I AM AN ADDICT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well... everything is fine EXPECT for this:

My fridge has been empty for even longer.
As a TRUE tri addict... you should have TONS of healthy food on hand! No food in your fridge? Are you eating out the whole time?

    Otherwise...screw everything else!

Guilty as charged. Although in my defense... I am surrounded on all sides by healthy eateries. This is, after all, Southern California.

uh, yeah. HE's started to push me to get back to training! Little does he know that his enthusiasm will mean he gets to stand on a street corner out back of the Leaning Tower YMCA on May 20 and cheer for me for 10 seconds as I fly by on my bike for 5 laps! Of course, *I* think cheering at a triathlon is fun, because I cheer for everybody. Heck, I cheer for everybody when I'm doing the triathlon! YAYAYAYAY triathletes!
