I pack tomorrow and leave friday morning for Canada.
    here's the camp
Devine Ride Be sure to check out the weekend schedule under "camps" I am so stoked. I'm going up with my riding pal that I met two summers ago at a different version of this camp ( same coaches, different admin) I learned so much last time. I'm sure a lot of the skill sets will be the same, however I may be ready to learn more/different things.

Of course, I will take photos, notes and write things up.

Here's my notes from last time, from a file I made two years ago:
Each morning was devoted to serious skills instruction in the Red Mountain gravel lot; each afternoon was a ride for each group.
Saturdays skill set included: down hill techniques: "descend and bail" dismounts off the rear of the bike; using your front brake: feathering, one finger control, modulation, descending *very* slowly with NO skidding; tight turns and switchbacks; plank riding and "lunges* off drops (peek and push); descending stairs; ratcheting; handling transition zones. Many assortedstunts and obstacles were set up in the lot, including planks, a teeter-totter; pallets of various heights; ramps, logs of different sizes.

Sunday's skill set included: front wheel lifts, rear wheel lifts, manual wheel lifts, level wheel lifts; quarter pedal pushes ( I think that's the right name for it) climbing skills: crouch climb; standing push/pull pedal climb, soft pedal shifting; Turns: slalom style turns, foot out( outrigger) turns, high speed cornering with countersteering and then last but not least hot dog skidding just for fun ( only in the parking lot) Whew, I think that's everything. The B groups did more stuff than the A group.
    woo-hoo, as always...
