    Why? Coffee named bike

Umm..Why? Why? Why did one bike brand name one of thier bikes after a type of coffee?

It was a (not sure of brand now) cappucino. I saw it whilst waiting to cross the street yesterday.

Interesting. Nice bike. The guy on the bike was nyah.

Hmm.. Cappuccino seems to give off the vibe as filling and frothy. For speed, "Espresso" would seem more appropriate for a bike.

A few years ago there was a top race horse named after Italian coffee.. Medaglia d'Oro (he was a son of a mare named Cappucino). I can think of a few more, but not so famous... Espresso Buzz, Coffee Monster, Java Jitters. Then there was another horse named Kona Gold. His owner/trainer claimed he was named after the Kona coffee. Those who were acquainted with the trainer knew otherwise...

Couple of manufacturers - including Trek - make models named Kona. Most (if not all) are tri-specific.

Kona has got a Hawaii theme going with a lot of their bikes - though I'm not sure where they came up with "Jake the Snake" for their cyclocross bike.

You want to see interesting/odd names look up VanDessel bikes sometime.
My husband just got his new "Dragstrip Courage" - a track bike - but I think my favorite is the "Hellafaster" road bike. (cool it didn't get ****'d)

    Bike Names

My favorite name for a bike is the Karate Monkey from Surly.

But then I just like to say mon-key!
