    Bianchi Dama Bianca She

Does anyone have this lovely bike? DH might be getting me a new Bianchi for my birthday, and I tending toward getting another Eros Donna. The She has an aluminum frame, which is why I'd rather go with the Italian steel Eros D. Our LBS will have to order the bike, so a test ride is not possible. I have an 06 Eros Donna and love it. Just wanted to see if anyone here has ridden the She and can offer a review.

If I get the new Bianchi, I will be selling my Terry Ltd Edition Fast Woman (one of a kind--had been a Team Terry spare bike--very low road mileage). Stay tuned, if you're interested. :-)

Okay, so just how many bikes do you need?

Why would you get the She instead of the Eros Donna, steel is real! If you already have an amazing Italian steel bike, maybe what you need now is a handbuilt work of art Italian steel bike:

Maybe you need a Pegoretti instead?

for six tanks of gas you could have bought a bike.

Umm, dangerous question -- maybe don't go there with this bunch of enablers!

I have the 2006 Dama Bianca, they only did one version last year, the three different Dama Biancas are new for 2007, so I don´t think that many people will have a "She" yet. Anyway, I´m very happy with mine - I can´t say that it feels harsher than my old steel-framed Peugeot, so maybe I´m just not that sensitive. I have the 46cm fram with 700cc wheels, so there is a bit of toe-overlap but it hasn´t been a problem. Hmm, what else can I say? I like the saddle that came with it, the campy brake levers fit my hands nicely, the narrow handlebars are just right and it´s a beautiful colour. I might upgrade the brakes at some point, nothing really wrong with the bianchi ones, I just feel they could maybe be a little better.
The bianchi steel bikes are not sold in Europe, so I couldn´t compare steel and aluminium versions.

There´s a picture of us on the TE Bianchista page (thanks mimitabby).

Bad Mimi, I already have two custom steel bikes (Lunas--one road & one cross)! When I retire (6 February 2019), I'll treat myself to a custom Italian steel frame.

You are right, I will go with the steel frame Eros Donna, if my husband ends up getting me the bike.

My goal is to replace all but my rain/beater bike with steel or titanium frame/campy component rides. I put in a lot of miles, so I more than get the return on the investment. I wish the Terry Fast Woman fit me better--it's got a racing geometry and the TT is about a half inch too long for me.

They are amazingly beautiful bikes, and the guy is now making a "wild woman" frame, which fits us gals. He'll make it in any model you want.
If you can pay the price. EEEK, the Mondonico was already more than I should be spending.
