Giordana Shorts

Has anyone tried a womens Giordana short? How do they compare size wise to PI or Assos. I've tried their unisex jersey and they run large not sure if same runs true for womens sizing on shorts.

I bought some Giordana shorts once and they were tiny. I'm quite comfy in a PI large (some are even a tad loose on me). But the Giordana large was so tiny, and the fabric so un-stretchy, that I've never ever worn them.

So I would definitely go up a size in Giordana. If you have Assos, it would probably be the same size you wear in Assos.

I only wore a Giordana short once - it was a part of a sponsored uniform (pro chamois) and that chamois was the worst thing I ever wore. I wore the shorts in a mountain bike race and I was totally rubbed raw! Yikes. I kept trying to stand up that whole last lap of the race. I was not a happy camper!

re: sizing.

Depends on the style. The Tenax shorts are actually running a bit large, especially in the hips. The Shape shorts are trimmer. I haven't had a chance to try on the new Forma shorts yet, so I can't say for sure on that one.

I just got a pair of custom Giordanas. They fit smaller than Pactimo and about the same as Hincapie. This is a comparison of size mediums.

They are they only cycling shorts I haven't wanted to take off after riding...so soft and comfortable!
