    When I was an undergrad at Duke, they sold the student mailing list. Yep - we all got on the mailing list trying to get us to subscribe... (don't ask why I took the time to track this down....)

    Probably the same way I got on the gay men's video club mailing list. Someone sold his name and address.

    It's taken about a year for the "special offers" to slow down. Someday, they will stop...
