SEE HOW SHE RUNS! Australian Story.

    http://www.abc.net.au/austory/content/2006/s1645137.htm

I was channel surfing this morning and came accross this Australian story repeat on ABC2.

I started watching it because there was nothing else on. I thought initially it was going to be about Police, THEN... Mental illness... But really It turned out to be about Anne Garton...

    TRIATHLETE...

Read the transcript... It's really an Inspirational story. They do say Triathlon is a mental as well as Physical battle, and I'd say Anne is by and far the biggest battler of them all.

Now I feel like going for a run. Because if Anne could do it when her world is crashing down around her then I can do it to. Get out there ladies!

    Very nice read.

There have been studies done where people with depression (not what she has- but it's a mental illness) have been given the orders to run. Apparently, running helped people come out of their depression.

I think it's an interesting idea to think that physical activity might help some mental disorders.
