This is pretty cool: www.bikely.com. Here's a short route I mapped this morning: Gettysburg #1. Click on Start Tour and then use the < > buttons to follow the route. The cue sheet has a nice layout, but the elevation graph doesn't seem to show distance along the bottom for all routes. You can also apparently load photos along the route, and the Comment link takes you directly to the bikely.com forum. Biggest plus so far: It definitely seems to load faster than RouteSlip.
Nicole (aka RouteSlip Queen), check it out!
"How about if we all just try to follow these very simple rules of the road? Drive like the person ahead on the bike is your son/daughter. Ride like the cars are ambulances carrying your loved ones to the emergency room. This should cover everything, unless you are a complete sociopath."

When you click on the map to add a turn/stop/etc, type your label for the spot in the "Now In" box to the left and add any info you want to in "Notes".
I have faith in you, Nicole, you can do this![]()

This site agrees with my laptop better than Routeslip.
I just mapped my first route. I'm having some problems navigating the site, etc, but the mapping functions seem to work pretty well and the results correspond well with what RouteSlip gives. It has some features I asked the RouteSlip guy about like adding points between existing points and the ability to move existing points. Unfortunately, the elevation view doesn't include mile tickers, making it difficult to figure where the major climbs, etc fall along the route. Hopefully, this guy will be open to comment and feature requests like the RouteSlip guy is.

http://www.veloroutes.org/ seems good too. I have trouble with all of them being up here in the great white north, but it might be ok for some of you gals.

Ok, I'm metrically challenged...is there a way to change from Km to Miles on this site?
It's only worth it if you're having fun
