    Hi All....

I was so happy to find this forum. Finally!!! I have a lot of problems with seats. I am mostly a roadie but do some triathlons. I don't exactly sit on the seat like a professional triathlete though. I think my main problem with seats is anatomical. I don't feel freakish but I think the slant, juxtaposition (whatever) of my pubic bone is a little different than most women. So I usually end up with a lot of discomfort. I have tried different Terry seats, big fat padded seats, hard little seats, ones with wide backs and no nose

There are two other seats I am interested in but this has become a little expensive. Has anyone used the ISM adamo seat or the Spiderflex?

I would think that a cutaway type seat would be best but since the Terry seats didn't do so well, now I am skeptic. But Serfas makes a pretty cool one called a Rx womens seat.

There is a lot fo literature out there but it seems mostly for men. Any insights you ladies can give me would be so appreciated. I try to spend 4-5 hours in the saddle every weekend and this would really help.

First I would like to welcome you! There is a great bunch of people on this site! And secound may I suggest you go to the getting to know you thread and fill that out so we know a little about you and 3rd try a search about your bike seat ? here at the forum.I use a terry butterfly and have used other seats but it is personal for sure. My lbs will let you buy a seat and bring it back within a week (in same condition it left the store) if it is not what you want. Do you wear padded shorts as well. Has your bike been fitted just in case maybe something might be off that would make you sit funny. And you are not a freak we are all different down there that is what makes us all special. Please do not think you are a freak! Enjoy the te site!
Blessed are the flexible, for they shall not be bent out of shape.

I'd suggest to you if you do triathlons stay away from the serfas rx. You would probably be rubbed raw from the plastic part in the middle of that seat in the front. I used that saddle once and wanted to burn it afterwards.

Btw...I grew up close to where you live. No shortage of hills there!
