Hi to all.
Just wanted to say thanks to all you great ladies for your wonderful advice. I've spent the past couple of days searching and reading on TE for some advice on buying a trainer and some videos as the roads here in SD now have ice and snow.
I rode a 5 day - 462 mile tour last June, did a mini triathalon a couple weeks after that and then pretty much parked my bike and have had it scowling at me since then![]()
I just finished my first trainer ride on my new Kurt Kinetic trainer using the spinervals video that came with the trainer. Also just ordered 4 more Spinervals online that I should get in a few days I hope. JEEZ am I out of bike shape...go figure!
So anyway... here's to a great New Year in which we all achieve our greatest goals!

"Keep plugging along. The finish line is getting closer with every step. When you see it, you won't remember that you are hurting, that anything has gone wrong, or just how slow or fast you are.
You will just know that you are going to finish and that was what you set out to do."

Welcome back! I've never done a triathlon, but I know what you mean about bike-guilt, having laid off for a long stretch as a result of a couple of injuries. Glad to hear you've gotten back on the "horse"!

KabyMom, I'm glad your back training. I have mostly been enjoying my inside trainer too. Good to hear from another SD gal. I hope we can meet on a bike ride this season. Happy New Year!![]()
