This morning when we were getting ready to leave, the wind picked up.
This would be a great place to fly kites!!!! it was QUITE the wind.

Beautiful, Mimi. Makes me want to return to Oregon. I used to live in Portland. I was spending the weekend at the coast, Twin Rocks, when Mt St Helens spouted in 1980. I remember waking up and looking around, thinking what the heck? It looked like a sandstorm. Everything was covered in a fine whitish soot.
I would love to take a cycling trip along the coast, that looks like a dream.
I haven't been back since 1986, (gee, that's 20 years!) visited Multnomah Falls and took a drive along Hwy 101. I miss the beauty of the NW.
