Where are all the (South) Aussie female cyclists?

As a newbie to SA road cycling I'm amazed at how few females I have seen out and about in Adelaide. Lotsa guys....

Anyway, I have a new bike, new sport (ex-runner with a bung knee) and I love it! I'm also commuting to work! Now just going to work on getting up some speed and some kms and its all good...

    *waves* Hello from Perth.

I know we have a Adelaidian lurking but she hasn't posted for a while.

Nice to see another Aussie wandering the board! Ah yes, please visit often and enjoy the nutty ladies here...

Love SA lived there for several years. Yep CC is right a few girls from SA on the forum. Enjoy your riding and commuting in the beautiful city of churches.

    Greetings from Brisbane!

    ^_^

welcome aboard. Can't answer the question on SA cyclists... But check the Barossa. Last time I was there there was a 50:50 mix of males to females riding along the road in bunch packs. It must've been some event on cause they were everywhere. (Maybe it was a cycling wine tour?)
