Yay OTG - Way to GO!!! I am SO glad your scale was wrong at the gym![]()
I have been all over the map since I was sick. But in the end, I lost about a half pound last week which is ok with me because A: it's the right direction, and B: I had a few bad days, went out for dinner one night, and didn't do much riding. On the positive side, I did start my strength program FINALLY and I got my bike on the trainer and have put in 115 minutes so far so I feel good about that. I have 3 more pounds to lose by Jan 1 and 8 more to lsoe by April 1. I'm actually hoping to lose it before then but I find I do better if I make small goals and then coast for awhile and then work at it again. I am more concerned with getting the loose, flabby skin into shape now.If all goes well, I will have lost 25 lbs in one year.

Go figure. I've lost 22.75 pounds total.

I am merely focusing on maintaining and hopefully building more lean muscle. I have been maintaining for 3/4 of a year now. It is wonderful, With all I burn off, I need to consume about 2200 calories.
So I definitely know how it is when you have so far to go. It's tough sometimes to avoid getting discouraged and at times it's scary. But I try to just focus on getting to the next week.
But it was that time of the month, so some may have been water weight, etc. In any case, I'm glad that's over.
