Foldable Bike? Put in bag before going in building. Also takes up less space in small apartments. Alternatively, perhaps find a garage and ask whether they would offer attended bike parking or lockers.
Hopefully others with experience will have more ideas...

I got the taste for cycling to work during the subway strike last year. Any creative suggestions for getting around the regulations against storing bikes in office buildings? I doubt my bike would last more than 20 seconds chained up outside and I'm not willing to risk it even with the strongest chain available.
