Hi! I joined this forum in June but only recently really started really reading through it. I want to say thanks for all the information you gave me without even knowing it!
I bought my first road bike last summer (05) but it wasn't until this spring that I really started enjoying cycling. This summer as I was cycling on my own through the rolling farm roads of Lancaster County, PA I thought "Wow... I love this. I love the feeling of cycling. I love flying down hills. I love the fact that climbing hills is getting easier. I love the feeling I get when I realize how far I've come. I love my road bike and how it responds. I love that I'm actually not bad at this sport. This is so cool."
I rode my first century in October (SeaGull century in MD) and loved every wet, windy, cold mile!
I look forward to talking with you all. I'm still new to the sport but enjoy talking about it and am always looking for tips and advice.
Nice to meet you all! And if this is the wrong spot for an intro hello please feel free to move it to the correct spot!
