Well, it would be awe-inspiring if it wasn't for this statement in the second article:Apparently the woman on the bike was blocking a car in a legal driving lane.The incident ocurred after the woman confronted Niu, assuming he had been driving in a bicycles-only lane. Niu said had not violated any traffic rules. Traffic police testified that he had been driving on a road of mixed traffic, open to both cars and bicycles.
Looking from afar, it is difficult to tell who is correct...

I don't know if you have ever seen the footage of the off duty bike messenger woman who was going home and had a man get out of his car and attack her. Apparently, he had thrown his fast food trash out the window at her and she rode up to his open window and politely threw it back inthe window and asked him to keep his trash to himself. He promptly got out of the car and proceeded to try to beat her up. Some he-man huh! Well, needless to say, there were not too many drivers that were up in arms about that in this country!
