I went riding with my husbands cousin and my 13yo son. My son loved it and did just fine on my husbands bike.

Yeah, my son has already said he wants a bike too now. I'm hoping to give him mine when I get a new one. He just made it look so easy! Boys just have no fear. He rode on that leaf covered, rocky singletrack just like he'd been doing it forever without falling once. I kept stopping to watch him ride the tricky parts to make sure he was o.k., and after watching him a few times I realized he was better than me! We had a great time and I am glad to have a riding buddy that doesn't have a job to hinder him from riding, lol.

That's fantastic - and you get to spend some real quality time together too - having fund doing something you both like.
When my kids get old enough it would make me really happy if either of them wanted to ride with me.
