    intersection fall

I had my first intersection fall today. In front of all the passing cars. It was great! I had to take my foot out of my shoe cause I couldn't get unclipped. I had to giggle to myself cause yesterday my best friend had her first intersection fall as well when we went out to ride. Luckly I was there to watch out for her. I was a little nervous about getting hit. But luckly nothing bad happend except a little hurt pride.
Blessed are the flexible, for they shall not be bent out of shape.

I had one fall ,but there was only 1 car who drove by (it was early on a Sunday morning) . I couldn't get my foot out of the strap. I'm thinking about going clip less when I get my new road bike, but I live in very busy traffic,,,I would die of embarrassment if I went down at an intersection. I have so many busy intersection when I ride. Glad you weren't hurt.

When I sell clipless pedals, I explain to the customers that everyone falls at some point. You almost always fall at an intersection while being watched.

Glad nothing was injured but your pride
And now you have one more story for your book

It's about the journey and being in the moment, not about the destination

well... now ya got THAT outta the way! And you know it's Murphy's Law... it HAS to happen in a busy intersection... can't ever be where no one witnesses it... sigh...

Been there, done that. I actually almost fell on Saturday. Had one foot unclipped, but accidentally leaned the other way. I managed to get the other foot unclipped just in time.

You will just know that you are going to finish and that was what you set out to do."
