Fun in the sun (photos)

Seems like I've been out on the trails every other day for the last few weeks. Nothing like having another willing partner in crime.

It's been just glorious, here's a few shots of my pal. Now she's been taking pics of me too, but I don't have the files yet.

On the local XC race course:

The photos are great! I wanted to ask you about your pads, I tried the six six one pads (including the knee) and I was too short for them to fit properly. Have you had experience with other brands that might accomodate a 4ft 10in. gal? People have recommended roach, but my legs are still too short.

the legs ones are a 661 small, I think they make an XS too but that may have been what you tried on.

My friend really likes her Veggie pads, have you looked that those.

I"m pretty sure those Roach pads run big.

I don't wear pads all the time. Mainly when I know we will be playing on rocks, or the the trail has potential for real penalty with biffs. We took a gal with us who slid out and took a chunk out of her knee that could have easily been avoided.

Those are great pics! Nice lighting and clarity that really catch the Rootbeerness of the Heckler. I love that rootbeer color! That log pile looks might fun,too

Ooohhh nice log ramp! Love those. Great photos.

FYI on the pads: Fox makes all kinds of pads(arm, knee, shin etc) in "youth" sizes. Nice for small humans.
