Talking Sorry it took so long, but Hilly Hundred photos!

I'm sorry it's taken so long to get to the forum with the photos from the Hilly Hundred weekend. I met Silver Sunday morning and was able to get a photo taken of us by another friend. It was quite chilly preride this particular weekend, but it warmed up wonderfully during the day. I'm especially glad the Hilly wasn't this past weekend as it was chilly, damp and windy all weekend. We couldn't have asked for better weather for the ride.
I saw Jenny early on the road Saturday morning as she passed me, but I didn't have time to get a photo.

Fantastic photos! Your vest is wonderful. I am hoping to be able to try this ride next year. Thank you for sharing your photos with us. You look so happy.

Mary--you witchy-poo cycling diva, you! Love the regalia, esp. the helmet-top spider and that Halloweeny vest you're wearing. I'd ask where you got that gorgeous vest, but you probably stitched it up yourself.

Looks like/sounds like you had a lovely time of it.

Your get-up gives me some ideas for my local century--coming up on Saturday. Think I have one of those faux spiders around here somewhere--did she stay up on top of your helmet OK? Alternatively, I guess I could attach her to the handlebar with some wire. Hmmmm.................

    Thanks for sharing!

Great pictures, Mary!! How can you cycle with those capes and boas and stuff? I love the various spooky totems you put on your bike.

Love those pics! Was that 100 K or 100 miles? And what was the date?

It's the Hilly Hundred Weekend. It's 50 miles on Saturday and 50 on Sunday for a total of 100 miles. It's pretty hilly too. It's held in a town called Elletsville, Indiana which is just northwest of Bloomington and about an hour South of Indianapolis. It's in it's 39th year and has about 5,000 cyclists.

Date was Oct. 7 and 8th

It was nice to see you too!

    Hi Mary!
I have yet to write my synopsis for the HH also. Hope to have time later today or yet this week. Don't want to thread cap, I'll start my own post. Was nice to see you even though it was for a split second. I was trying to catch my group that had left me while I adjusted my windbreaker! Maybe next year.

Here's a picture of me from day 1 with my new man. He says it's an ugly picture of him but it's the best I can do for now!
