    I can't find my shoes . . .

All I want to do is sneak in a quick 10 or 12 mile ride. I have my kit on. It hasn't rained or snowed for about 10 minutes and it doesn't look like it will for a little while. There's new air in my tires. All I need are my shoes. Where are they . . . ?

Wow, pretty cool! You can buy a gadget so you don't have to use that expensive gadget when you forget where the expensive shoes are to go with the expensive gadget

For that matter, you should get another *bike* that you can ride in sneakers. Ebay has some lovely Schwinns

Well young lady, where did you last have them? They didn't just walk away on their own you know. I can't spend all my time looking for your shoes. Your father and I work hard to buy those things. I bet you loaned them to %#$@. & you'll never get them back from her. I mean, have you seen their house. Her mother just let's things lay where they drop you know. Well, I'm not buying you another pair. You'll just have to cycle barefoot. Now go to your room.

that is hysterical you left out....when I was your age we didn't have special fancy cycling shoes. We rode our bikes barefoot...in the snow....20 miles uphill to school and were happy to do that. Your father and I have worked hard so that you'd have everything we never had but I guess you don't appreciate it *

*signed Trek, and my Mom never sounded like that ;-)

Hey Belle --- are you sure you're not my mother???

Only thing is, you'd need an English accent, not a southern one, and you'd need to insert "bloody" about every fourth word....

WAY funny, thanks for the laugh!

Oh my gosh! That was my Mom all over!
I still hear her in my head when I've misplaced something and am turning everything upsidedown to find it.

sooooo, did you ever find the shoes and.......... where?
